Japan Intergenerational Uninty Association (JIUA)

JIUA has as its mission to stimulate, nurture, and sustain intergenerational programming efforts in Japan. JIUA seeks to provide recognition and support for existing intergenerational initiatives, provide technical assistance for organizations considering establishing new initiatives, and to develop and promote a national agenda for an inclusive, popular social movement aimed at strengthening intergenerational relations in Japan.


JIUA engages in


1. Monthly study meeting and special meetings to build intergenerational group networks.
2. Training seminars for intergenerational professionals.
3. Bridging international connections in the field.
4. Research and promotion of international programs in Japan.
5. Support individuals and organizations to promote intergenerational programs and networks.
6. Other activities related to our mission.
